I was born in Jersey which is one of the Channel Islands and have lived here for most of my life. I was born with a mild form of Spina Bifida - a physical disability, which sometimes makes walking difficult but I try not to let it interfere with my life too much. I have a beautiful cat called Treacle who was rescued as a kitten by my dad, from her cruel previous owner. I like nothing better than to support Ronan in the best way I can. My hobbies are, reading, writing and creating websites and I have recently become a qualified website designer.
I discovered Ronan back in the early days of Boyzone, when I saw them perform their first single "Love me for a Reason" on TV. I became an avid fan of the boys but mostly Ronan and was thrilled when he decided to go solo; I've followed his career ever since. Ronan's amazing voice does it for me every time and of course his incredibly good looks and lovely personality. So far I haven't managed to see Ronan live in concert, but I’m determined to one day. I admire Ronan so much, not only because of his wonderful talent, but also for how much he does for various charities. Ronan is a very kind hearted person, always giving, but never expecting anything in return. I also admire his devotion to his wife and children who he obviously adores. Ronan is a hard worker, a fantastic singer/songwriter and performer.
In December 2003 I was thrilled to win a huge poster signed by Ronan. It was an auction organised by Kev Place of www.thats-my-boy.co.uk and raised a fantastic total of £1,400 in aid of the Sumaritans. Eternally Ronan re-auctioned the poster in July 2005 to raise money for the Marie Keating Foundation.
I've met some great friends thanks to Ronan, through groups/lists/forums and that’s how I know Ange. Our website is not only about supporting and promoting Ronan it’s also about cancer awareness too, which is a subject very dear to Ronan’s heart and also mine as we both lost our mothers to cancer. Ronan's mother Marie died of breast and spinal cancer in 1998 and my own mum died of lung cancer in March 2003. I hope you enjoy browsing this website as much as we enjoy updating it. We're here to support Ronan and celebrate his very successful on going career. We love to receive your feedback and thoughts and reviews on Ronan and the site so keep ‘em coming! Thank you and thank you Ronan

I live in Chatham; Kent and have done all my life. I’m happily married to Nick for 13 years now, and we met at work. We have 2 adorable dogs, a blue roan cocker spaniel called Charlie and Beasley a yellow Labrador. I’m currently looking at caring for the elderly and have been a part time student; recently passing an Open College Network Creative Writing course and I enjoy writing in my spare time.
It was actually Ronan who drew my attention to writing, it all started from writing fan fics for fun and I took it more seriously, so thanks Ronan! I love films, obviously working on my computer and helping to run this website, also DIY, decorating and design and listening to music; especially Ronan. I suppose I first discovered Ronan during the end of the Boyzone days, when they were about to release their greatest hits album ‘By request’. I loved Ronan’s voice and always liked their songs, but it wasn’t until Ronan released ‘When you say nothing at all’ that my interest grew even further. From that first solo concert at the Royal Albert Hall in 2000 I was spellbound and totally smitten by him. His outstanding performance and the atmosphere was electric and I knew I would be back for more time and time again. I have never felt such enthusiasm about an artist/singer before as I do with Ronan and want to do all I can to support him. I have so much admiration and pride for him - as a person, a singer, performer and family man. Not only is he irresistibly gorgeous, but he’s totally dedicated to his love of music and singing and helping various charities, the obvious of course being the Marie Keating Foundation and Trade Justice. He always sings live when he can and comes across as a genuine, hard working guy who loves life. When I met him it was a wonderful experience if a little short!
I have met some lovely people through the groups and boards and that’s how I met my friend Eily. We both wanted to support Ronan in the best way we knew how, which is why we started this website. We wanted to promote Ronan and share news, pictures, reviews and our thoughts of Ronan with fans and of course have some fun along the way! I hope you like our website and will help us support and promote Ronan, by requesting, voting and talking about our man. We all know he’s worth it - he’s the best. Thank you Ronan and here’s to another 10 years! © Copyright 2003 - 2005 Eternally Ronan. |
